Rental Policies

The price per additional driver will be EUR 6,61 plus VAT Per day, with a maximum charge of EUR 52,89 plus VAT. Maximum 3 additional drivers per rental. See Age Requirements for restrictions on car groups.

Please park the vehicle on the street, near Enterprise Rent-A-Car facilities. Lock the vehicle and leave the keys in the drop-box located at the entrance of our office.

Minimum rental age is 21 years for all car groups, except SKMD 6, FKMD 7, PKMD 8, PDMR J, LVMR M, FVMR V, IFMR W, ITMR Y, FFMR Z, for which the driver must be at least 25 years old. A young driver fee of 7.85 EUR plus VAT per day with a maximum fee of 78.50 EUR plus vat per rental will be applicable to drivers between 21 to 24 years of age. There is no maximum age limit subject to the driving license expiration and license requirements. For rentals in the Canary Islands, drivers must be at least 22 years old and have a minimum 2 year issue date of drivers license for all car groups.

CDW and TP insurance. Collision Damage Waiver reduces the amount of the renters damage responsibility to the sum of the deductible. If CDW is declined, then the renter may be liable for the whole value of the damage or loss. CDW is optional if not included in the rates

Domestic one ways are available for all locations within continental Spain for consumer and tour bookings. Cost is available upon booking for all cars. There is no minimum length of rental. Domestic one way rentals within the same city are free of charge. Domestic one way rentals are not allowed between Island and Mainland or vice versa or among islands. Domestic one way rentals are allowed between locations on the same island in the Canary Islands. International one way rentals are not allowed.

Excess Protection is an optional coverage that allows the renter to reduce their excess responsibility. The price of EXS varies by vehicle size. . 14.50 Euro per day for economy-compact-standard- intermediate reducing excess to 0 Euro. . 27.50 Euro per day for premium-van reducing excess to 0 Euro.

To comply with the Enterprise standard fuel policy the vehicle should be returned with a level of fuel equal to the amount provided at the start of the rental. Optional fuel products are available at participating locations.

*** Third party insurance *** third party liability insurance *tpl* is mandatory and covers the driver and the owner for third party claims against him/her for damage caused by the hire vehicle. Tpl is included in the rate. Cover is limited to 135 million euros. *** theft protection *** theft protection *tp* is optional and reduces the drivers responsibility for loss or damage to the car following theft or attempted theft and must be purchased at the time of rental. Tp cannot be covered by renters credit cards under any circumstances. Excess without tp - full value of the rental vehicle.

Vehicles are permitted to be driven into Portugal, Andorra and Gibraltar with no outside Spain insurance required. Vehicles are also permitted to be driven into Austria, Germany, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco and Switzerland, no other countries are permitted, but OUTSIDE SPAIN INSURANCE must be purchased. The costs of OUTSIDE SPAIN INSURANCE will be 45,45 EUR, and this is purchased at the counter. Customer MUST advise the car will be driven out of Spain at the point of contract, in any case.

The following major credit cards are accepted in Spain, visa, MasterCard, American express and diners. Visa and MasterCard debit cards are accepted. Additional requirements may apply. Cash payments, travelers cheques and euro cheques are not accepted. An international valid credit card is always required for the deposit of which will be held on the credit card until the vehicle is returned. A deposit of up to 1200 EUR- varies by vehicle group and the method of payment- will be taken at the time of the rental.

License requirements - renters with non roman script licenses as well as licenses from all countries outside the EU must have an international license and their own license from their country of domicile. All drivers must have held a full license for a minimum of one year. All drivers will be required to show their driving license and valid passport as a general rule. An id card can be used if it is written in roman characters and can be used only for countries within the EU. Spanish law now states that all rental cars must have a copy of the rental agreement within valid rental dates. If requested by police or guardia civil the renter must show the valid rental agreement. If this is out of date the renter will be subject to a fine of 1001.00 Eur. Any possible rental extension must be processed at our rental locations by the customer in person. It cannot be processed by phone or email etc. While the vehicle is registered in Enterprise records if a record of the rental extension is not carried inside the car the authorities will issue a fine. This penalty cannot be removed by showing documents after the fine is applied.
